It’s Thursday, it’s starting to get a bit warmer out and I’ve been thinking about what the best snack to accompany Grey’s would be… I’m also thinking about my trip to Jamaica in two weeks and trying to be good.
So I chopped some mangoes & kiwi and pulled the bag of blueberries (and the tub of ice cream) out of the freezer.
I love the purplish pink colour you get from blueberries when you whir them in the blender.
Yummy! It’s purple and flecked with bits of blueberry skin. It’s creamy and not horribly sweet like store bought ones.
Mango, Blueberry & Kiwi Shake
1 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
1 kiwi, skinned and sliced
1 mango, skinned and diced
1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
1 cup skim milk
Whir everything together in the blender and drink.
